Bio
STORM is a San Francisco-based writer whose current projects include comic scripts, a novel, a memoir & a screenplay. He also paints, draws, performs, & reads voraciously. “Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs” made him want to be an artist, “Star Wars” made him fall in love with Han Solo & “The Bride of Frankenstein” gave him an appreciation for apocalypse. He’s obsessed with the Baroness from G.I.Joe, Tarja Turunen, & The Uncanny X-men.
He received his BA in English & BFA in Painting & Printmaking from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his MFA in Writing & Consciousness from New College of California.
He has taught a series of creative writing workshops that focused on combining writing with performance, memoir & critical theory. He has also taught classes on drawing, painting & printmaking.
