WHAT IS THIS PLACE?

Dear Reader,

Thank you for taking the time to explore stormantic.com, your source for all things deemed relevant by the creature known as STORM (Please see the tab, “WHO IS STORM?“ for a helpful Bio).  In order to help you find your way to what might interest you, please allow me to reveal some key words that you may wish to use to navigate this blog.

Storm.  Refers to the member of the X-Men whose elemental powers and fearless leadership have made her a fan favorite the world over, in spite of her less than stellar celluloid representation by the same actress who also sullied Catwoman’s big screen feature.

Storm Sunday.  A weekly look at the above mentioned X-Man in which yours truly examines some aspect of Ororo’s depiction in comics.  At times a bit biographical, hopefully informative and largely pictorial in nature.  Search in combination with Original Art to see the sketches I have collected from my recent Con attendances.

stormantic.  Refers to the larger than life creature known as STORM whose insistence for having his name in all caps is a distraction for many, obnoxious to some and proof of his Superstar status for others.  All art and writing by STORM is tagged by this handle.  It is a combination of the word “storm,” having to do with the weather, and the word “mantic,” having to do with prophecy.
